Album Review

Being based in 2011, BLACKBURNER released already three studio albums and became number 1 Dubstep artist on ReverbNation.com. They featured the advertisement campaign of American bundled Internet access, telephone, and television service Verizon FiOS as well as NBC’s “America's Got Talent”. 2012 the band supported MINISTRY on their American tour. The same year they released their second album 'Planet Earth Attack' inspired by sci-fi and featured by Captain Kirk.

This album could be valuable not just for the fans of Dubstep, but also for those who is looking for some sample in this genre for their collection just because of general interest. This work is conceptual, quite interesting, it has its diversity. The fact that William Shatner, who became the icon for starring in cult series Star Trek as Captain James T. Kirk, makes this album a real treasure. This is also a typical Dubstep piece of work and it is hard to say, if it was quite innovative. It hardly will leave you a chance to sit still while listening to it, rhythmical head-banging or leg-shaking or even dancing are guaranteed. On the other hand if you are not a real fan of this kind of music, it can happen that one moment its rich and sometimes overdone and overloaded texture turns into a background which you stop to follow.
