Well, well the inventive Swedes of AUTO-AUTO. I’ve long lost track of what they're up to if I’m honest. The most significant change is they're back at the label where the story began a long time ago. 'Underwater Sounds Pt.1' being the first of a series that could go on indefinitely because the world can never get enough of songs to party to, which is what the project is aiming to provide with the four tracks on here. Listening through the new material leaves the impression of a band having found their sound and building on it, refining the details. It's nothing substantially new, though even on a bad day their material is among the best in synthetic pop music, because after all this is what it is. The mood on all the four tracks remains calm, the beats floating on beds of spherical textures and processed vocals. You obviously can't go wrong buying this.
