And One - ‘The Sextron Tour 2011’ & Camouflage, De/Vision, Minerve
This time I went on a little longer trip: I went to Dresden to see the completely sold-off show from AND ONE in the old slaughterhouse. The programme sounded promising, because besides AND ONE, another two German Synth Pop heroes appeared with DE/VISION and CAMOUFLAGE. They were accompanied by MINERVE.
Minerve
2002 was the foundation year of the German Synth-Pop band MINERVE. Since then they appeared on many concerts and festivals, among others with bands like MELOTRON and IRIS. With their single 'My Universe' ,they reached for the first time the German alternative charts in 2006. Last year, the band published their current album ‘Breathing Avenue'. This year the publication of the EP ‘Hold Me Tight’ followed. www.minerve.de

Unusual early for a concert, namely already at 05:10 PM, singer Daniel Wollatz, Mathias Thürk (keyboard) and Andreas Wollatz (keyboard) appeared on stage of the old slaughterhouse, which was quite well full already. Anyone seemed to be eager seeing AND ONE. MINERVE offered at the beginning of the evening a really nice programme to the audience for half an hour. Within the set, of also their hit 'Take Me Higher‘ was included.

De/Vision
The German Synth-Pop band DE/VISION was founded already in 1988. In the 90s the band could register some success, above all with their album most successful up to now 'Monosex‘, which reached place 30 in the German charts in 1998. On the matching tour they played several concerts in front of more than 1,000 fans. Their latest album 'Popgefahr‘ appeared in 2010, this year followed, in addition, a Remix version of it. www.devision-music.de
Music & Performance
After a really short rebuilding break, the stage belonged to DE/VISION, consisting of Steffen Keth and Thomas Adam. Steffen had won the audience from the very beginning, above all with songs like 'I Regret', 'Rage' or 'Your Hands On My Skin'. The appearance was the first climax on this evening. Unfortunately, also the show of DE/VISION lasted only 45 minutes. The audience in the now completely packed location was, nevertheless, in the best mood and bet farewell to the duet with blustering applause.

Camouflage
The Synth-Pop band CAMOUFLAGE, coming from Bietigheim-Bissingen / Germany, already exists since 1983. Their internationally probably best known songs are the single 'The Great Commandment‘, published in 1987, and the single 'Love Is A Shield’, published in 1989. Then it became quieter around the band, until they reported back in 1999 - again in the old line-up - with the single 'Thief'. Their latest album 'Relocated' appeared already in 2006. Currently, the band is working on new material finally. www.camouflage-music.com

The next band of this evening was CAMOUFLAGE which might have been, above all, well-known especially to the older concert goers. At 6:45 PM, singer Marcus Meyn, Oliver Kreyssig (keyboard) and Heiko Maile (keyboard) entered the stage in whose background there was a banner with the title 'Greyscale', what already pointed to the new album. In the course of their 70 minutes lasting appearance, they played already new songs from the upcoming album as for example 'Shine' or 'Misery'. Of course the lovers of their older titles also were satisfied: 'That Smiling Face‘‚ 'Love Is A Shield‘ as well as 'The Great Commandment‘, with which they finished their appearance, were included. Unfortunately, also their presentation - which the audience has liked obviously very well - came too early to an end.

And One
The German Synth-Pop band AND ONE was founded in 1989 in Berlin. Their current album Tanzomat' appeared this spring. Then there were however drastic changes within the band’s line-up. Thus Chris Ruiz and Gio van Oli announced on the 4th of June that they'll leave AND ONE. In the same evening at the UNHEILIG concert, where they were special guests, Gio and Chris were replaced by the former band members Rick Schah and Joke Jay as well as from Mister X. Some days later the return of both former band members to AND ONE was announced. www.andone.de

Then the headliner of the day appeared around shortly after 8:00 PM on the stage: singer Steve Naghavi, Rick Schah (keyboard), Joke Jay (voice / keyboard / drums) and live keyboarder Nico Wieditz. In the background of the stage hung a gigantic banner with the label 'AND ONE - BAKE HOME'. Already with their first song 'Techno Man', the band started with a bang. Indeed, the pleasure was clouded during the first both songs by ear-deafening sturgeon noises a little. But that did, nevertheless, no demolition to the mood in the hall. The fans were not to be held back any more and danced, sang and clapped playfully. With the songs 'High‘ and 'The Aim Is in Your Head‘, Steve got vocal support of Joke what was also taken very well by the audience. 
When it came then to the additions, Steve opened up again properly and the mood reached the boiling point with songs like e.g. 'Timekiller‘ or the final 'Enjoy The Silence‘. The announcement of another tour in the next spring containing half of it own songs and to other half songs by DEPECHE MODE was welcomed exceedingly well by the audience. After about 2 ½ hours, the appearance of AND ONE was also past and the hall slowly emptied.

This was once more an exceedingly successful concert evening with many musical highlights which ended, as usual, too fast. But the light was exceedingly bad from my point of view and one could not recognise sometimes a lot except the respective singer.
