22 years of business and still “crossing all over” – after five years of recreation H-BLOCKX are back! Don’t get me wrong: it’s not that the members were just loafing around. Beside several festival gigs, own projects and “collaborations” with other artists like SÖHNE MANNHEIMS (meanwhile Henning Wehland is a full member), there’s a lot of work to promote and support artists with Wehland’s business BLX Music & Entertainment… But all these processes just led into a new release by Germany’s most exceptional crossover-combo, simply reduced to the bottom line even in its name: ‘HBLX’! From the very beginning, this masterpiece goes straight forward and is a real smack in your face. Especially ‘Gazoline’ is my favourite song and I’m willing to proclaim it as my personal smasher for festivals, joyrides and whatever you’re digging on.

‘HBLX’ definitely is a reference to crossover par excellence. Of course, there might be songs that are pleasing more or less. The fact is, that ‘HBLX’ contains a plenty of songs that fits perfect for the upcoming festival summer! No wonder at all, that H-BLOCKX are going to play a lot of big festivals like Greenfield Festival, Bochum Total, Deichbrand Festival, Taubertal Festival and Highfield Festival. They are even going to be the headliner of a new festival called Festi-WIL - and as if that wasn’t enough, those guys will play several gigs following an intense festival summer! There’s only ONE hitch: 37 minutes!?!?!? Guys, please! Are you serious? I’m definitely hooked on… me wants more!!
