Album Review

One year after their debut album ‘Brace For Impact’ Michael Ehre's (ex- Firewind, Metalium) band LOVE.MIGHT.KILL are back with their new album titled ‘2 Big 2 Fail’. The album is more hard rock orientated than their debut and full of nice melodies. The album is having many up-tempo catchy songs, songs like ‘Burn The Night’ and ‘XTC’ for which the band filmed a video but also we have nice down tempo songs like ‘Alone’ and ‘Too Big To Fail’. Jan Manent's voice is very good and melodic and this makes the songs even better. Still Sascha Onnen's keyboards make the songs more atmospheric and make the sound of the album richer. The production of the album is made by Michael Ehre, it is very good and highlights the bands strong points. From the other hand we don't have something pioneering but sometimes I think that if an album is having good sound and good songs it's not there necessary to be pioneering. In a few words we have a very well made melodic album, easy to listen and certainly fans of hard rock and melodic metal worth giving a chance to LOVE.MIGHT.KILL and 2 Big 2 Fail.
