Album Review

In December 2012, John Lindqwister (CAT RAPES DOG, #366: A LIFE LIVED) and Richard Flow (VISION TALK, HAZE FOR SALE) decided to try out a new fresh project beside their other bands, the result of this collaboration is MACHINISTA. The first release of this new band is the ‘Arizona Lights’ EP which contains four songs and six alternative or remixed versions. The music style of the EP is Synth Pop with very good clear melodic vocals and influences from the 80's plus some EBM elements. All the tracks are in high level but ‘Salvation’ is my favourite, a very good melodic track with a strong catchy chorus. About the remixes and the alternative versions most of them are very good and makes the whole result even more attractive. 'Arizona Lights' gives us a very good first taste of MACHINISTA, their debut full length album titled 'Xenoglossy' will be out on May 23rd and I’m sure that it will be one of the best debuts for 2014.
