Panic! At The Disco + special guest: Tigertown

The phenomenon of PANIC! AT THE DISCO really surprised me: their fans are becoming younger and younger with each tour. I was near the location one hour before doors opened and already at this time the queue was until the end of the building. Some of the girls stood there from 10 o’clock in the morning to be in the first row in front of the stage. However, despite long standing the visitors were in very good mood. The girls at the beginning of the queue were singing the songs and had fun. As soon as doors opened, the first girls ran to the stage. Moreover, already half of all place in front of the stage was very quickly occupied.

Tigertown

At 8 o’clock TIGERTOWN entered the stage. This band is heading from Sydney, Australia and released their new EP ‘Papernote’ on 28th October 2016. The usual line-up of band is comprised of four people but this time, they had a one more girl on stage - at the drums. The first impression when band came on stage was that they do not fit together so different was their style and clothes. For example, you had the singer in her golden costume and the guitarist in overall. However, when they started to play it worked. The visitors met the band with ovations and they really supported and enjoyed the show of TIGERTOWN. The band played very good indie rock and the singer really rocked the stage. My favourite song from this show was ‘Make It Real’. http://www.tigertownband.com / https://www.facebook.com/tigertownband

Panic! At The Disco

PANIC! AT THE DISCO is one of the bands which is getting better from album to album. They grow up together with their fans. The new album, ‘Death Of A Bachelor’, which was released on 15th January 2016, was not an exception of this rule. ‘Emperor's New Clothes’, ‘Death Of A Bachelor’ and ‘LA Devotee’ became hits right away and these songs’ videos surprised and excited the fans. Now, PANIC! AT THE DISCO is on tour again and played only four shows in Germany. It’s not a surprise that some of the shows were sold out because it’s really a fantastic experience to see this band live - great sound, light show and Brendon Urie on the stage left no one unconcerned. PANIC! AT THE DISCO is not a band that can disappoint you with their live show. http://www.panicatthedisco.com / https://www.facebook.com/panicatthedisco

Music & Performance
Finally, after thirty minutes break, PANIC! AT THE DISCO entered the stage and I was so happy to have ear protection because the girls’ screams could really make you deaf. What a welcome! This year, the band released their sixth album, ‘Death of a Bachelor’, and they started the show with one of the best songs from it, ‘Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time’. Fantastic energy and stage presence make front man Brendon a real star. He was not alone on stage but it was very difficult to concentrate on somebody else since he alone has such a charisma. The first bra was flying onto the stage very early, already at the third song, ‘The Ballad of Mona Lisa’. Later on, Brendon was hanging it up on his microphone. The setlist was a very good combination of old and new songs. I was really happy to listen to ‘Girls / Girls / Boys’ and ‘Miss Jackson’. The entire show was about one hour and fifteen minutes, too short for many fans who wanted still more. But anyway it was a really amazing evening.
