The follow up to the debut was the darker, more melancholic “In Memory” EP that expanded the band’s intense, technically flawless, daring metal with an entire new dimension that still is part of their unique brand of sound. With some exclusive demo recordings as bonus, the EP now reaches album length and should be an essential collector’s item for long term fans as well as a great starting point for new ones.

NEVERMORE’s second full-length was “The Politics Of Ecstasy” in 1996, graced by a monstrous sound and fan favourites (e.g. ‘The Seven Tongues Of God’) still to be found in the band’s live set today. This masterly work of lyrical cynicism, depressing moods and brilliant musicianship is expanded by a cover of Judas Priest’s ‘Love Bites’ as well as the video for ‘Next In Line’.
