Alfa Matrix announces band behind anonymous demoA few weeks ago, the Alfa Matrix headquarters issued a (desperate) pressrelease in order to identify a demo CDR the label received a few weeks earlier. 2 songs from this demo were posted on www.myspace.com/alfamatrix in order to identify the band as quick as possible. Apart from excellent feedback, also tips started pouring in. And it was a fan of the Alfa Matrix label who finally identified the band early September and who contacted us.
A few weeks of negociations followed and we can now finally welcome CRISK. to the label.
So who exactly are CRISK. ? During our search, several suggested that it had to be a new project by PZYCHOBITCH, some even suggested that this had to be some big DJ project due to the well worked out production. But here are the facts once and for all: CRISK. is a Köln – Germany based quartet (Christiane Koch - Mike Silence - Mona Maybach - Mark Feuerstake) fronted by the female singer DJane Christiane Koch who is the ultimate chameleon able to jump vocal styles with a disturbing natural facility. The band's style can best be described as a distilled cocktail mix of TRAUMSCHMIER, PZYCHOBITCH, CLIENT, FRONT 242, PRODIGY or even DAFT PUNK with provocative German female vocals. 100% electronic beats guaranteed. The band is now working on a first album with a first EP to be released in the next months on Alfa Matrix.
