"Pink Turns Blue" hit the nerve of the time: Their comeback album "PHOENIX" is on the German Alternative Charts (DAC) for the fifth week now. It is also album of the month in all the "scene" magazines, gets top reviews and overwhelming hymns of praise. But above all we are especially happy about our position in the DAC, sharing the top position with VNV Nation and New Order.

But also the scene welcomes our new work:

Piranha 04/2005:
A pearl of the German underground. Songs like "Michelle", "Your Master Is Calling" and "Seven Years" belong into every indie cult collection. Musically they dare to do the splits between dark atmospheres, easily remembered structures and a simpleness as it was typical for the music of the 80s. However, it never sounds dusty. They indipendently make their music and combine skilfully sensitiveness and guitar orientation.

Sonic Seducer 04/2005:
The reunion of the year! Not without good reason Pink Turns Blue, the romantic-wave legend has called their album "Phoenix". With their comeback work Mic Jogwer and his band abduct into long forgotten times. You revel in ecstasy: grievious melancholy, calls of lament out of the depths of truefully felt agony, silent then angry, suddenly rebelling Art-Pop: magic moments that create goose pimps and a tremor on your back.

Zillo 04/2005:
The most beautiful new 'old' record of the year. Really! The most beautiful comback of the last years. Wonderfully earthy, deeply emotional dark wave with great melodies, heartwarming vocals and breath-taking arrangements. Pure passion, authenticity, playfulness and creativity. Back with a Bang! Pink Turns Blue sound so fresh as ever and release one of their best albums of their career!

Orkus 04/2005:
PHOENIX transports countless emotions, draws you under a pleasant spell and is at the same time surrounded by an unusual strong radiation. That makes listening to this album an extraordinary experience.

Music Non Stop (UK)04/2005:
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! "Phoenix" is a record that should be liked by fans of the dark wave genre, but is also a big recommendation for people who like indie pop bands like Interpol.

Thanks to everyone that made this happen! (P.S.: The friends page will soon be filled, promise!)
