New album 'HOME' will hit the stores on April 15, 2006 in Europe and on April 18, in the USA! Groundbreaking Dutch rock act The Gathering have never been one to shy away from variety in their music. On ‘Home’ the band’s cutting edge style continues to evolve with a more rocking and expressive sound, though still championing and connected with the gothic, electronic and trip-hop elements of the past few releases.
With its lush melodies, heartfelt warmth and hypnotic riffs once again nestled within their sonic landscape, the band manages to capture a vibrant and flowing atmosphere of beauty and intricacy with each note. * a personal codes was submitted to the 'A sound relief' DVD. All European copies of 'Home' released by Sanctuary Records will again contain a personal goodie code. For the moment it is unknown if the USA version of 'Home' will also come with a goodie code. But we are working on this!
