Amon Amarth & Support Testament & Grand Magus
Last week, AMON AMARTH visited Haus Auensee in Leipzig on their “Jomsviking” tour. The Swedish Stoner Doom band GRAND MAGUS from Stockholm opened the evening and they were able to win the audience from the very beginning. With ‘Sword Songs’, the band released their 8th studio album this year. Afterwards, a thrash metal legend entered the stage: TESTAMENT. In October, the band released the album ‘Brotherhood of the Snake’. The very brilliant CD artwork was also found in her entire impressive stage design. With eleven albums the band has enough material to fill the setlist.
The snakes left the stage for the change-over for the headliner of the evening and gave a clear view of AMON AMARTH's already prepared stage. The central element is an oversized Viking helmet. Between its horns, the drums are impressively positioned. AMON AMARTH take their fans on a journey through the Nordic mythology and celebrate a huge Viking party together with their fans. In front of a full house, the guests were offered a great concert evening with all three bands.
