megaherz loreley 27062015“When life's too hard for you, you are too weak for Megaherz!”

The time has come on Friday, 26th June 2015, UNHEILIG have started their “Gipfelstürmer Tour” 2015. Their support: no one else but the Neue Deutsche Härte greatness MEGAHERZ who have stormed the German charts with their brand new record ‘Zombieland’ and who have climbed the peak of the genre again. But, are MEGAHERZ too hard for the UNHEILIG audience? At least that's what the Oberbayerische Volksblatt / Mühldorfer Anzeiger thinks and writes in an article published on Saturday, the 20th June as follows: “For all the mums and dads there is no other choice at the beginning but to keep the eyes and ears of the Graf's little fans shut. […] This harshness brings along especially hard words: aggressive, rough, below the belt.” And it adds: “Megaherz suits the “family event” as much as a horror film the afternoon programme.”

The mentioned article can be read in full length here (in German): http://www.ovb-online.de/muehldorf/viel-deutsche-haerte-5139381.html

The “hard” facts prove actually the opposite: Not without reason are MEGAHERZ considered one of the leading Neue Deutsche Härte (Eng.: “New German harshness”) bands, a genre from which also UNHEILIG (originally) come from. Enormous chart successes, sold out tours, a constantly growing fan community in Europe which MEGAHERZ bring on board with their successful records speak volumes. The band has now played already two shows of the “Gipfelstürmer Tour” with UNHEILIG: on the 26th June in Schwäbisch Gmünd as well as on the 27th June on the Loreley/ St. Goarshausen where MEGAHERZ already sold out their brand new record ‘Zombieland’ and also on Amazon it's completely sold out since then. The band with the daily growing fan community of young and old satisfies demands immensely. Too hard for the UNHEILIG audience?

The band has now commented in an open statement: “On the one hand side, we cannot understand all the fuss that has been caused by this article, on the other hand side we do regret that an individual journalist can actually cause so much insecurity. In his article, he quotes the lyrics of a song which was created in our beginning years and that's 20 years ago. It's a testimony of our band history. Nothing more. We deal with life in our lyrics and we don't censor ourselves sometimes, we provoke from time to time when we think that it does justice to the topic. One shouldn't forget the infamous wink since especially humour and puns are our strengths. We have fans of all ages who treasure especially that about us. The rumour that the UNHEILIG management has censored us or even prescribed which songs we are allowed to play and which not went viral on the internet. One shouldn't always believe what is said there. The visitors of the Gipfelstürmer Open Air tour can look forward to a fantastic evening with cool bands who approach everything with a lot of passion, emotion and fun. One could already experience how well this works in Schwäbisch Gmünd and on the Loreley. Only laughing faces and people who celebrated and rocked out!”
