gothicmeetsclassic2012 logoAfter Gothic meets Klassik is before Gothic meets Klassik! So we want to share the first info about the lineup in 2016 that has been revealed.

The popular electro group SOLAR FAKE has been confirmed to play on Friday, the first festival day at Haus Auensee in Leipzig, Germany. The band around Sven Friendrich, the charismatic singer and creative head behind the project, entertains crowds with a blend of concentrated club power, hymnic pop qualities, and intensive, emotional moments. SOLAR FAKE have played numerous concerts as special guests supporting, for example, VNV NATION, CAMOUFLAGE, PETER HEPPNER, COVENANT, and PROJECT PITCHFORK. They have also delighted up to 15.000 fans at festivals and were more than successful on their first headliner tour in 2014.

Furthermore, we are looking forward to seeing FORCED TO MODE, an Electrock/Indietronic band from Berlin that was formed upon a passionate request. This DEPECHE MODE tribute project produces and presents their “devotional tribute” on a truly high level. Especially their energetic live performance, the vocals being very close to the original, and their perfectionist love for sound details make F2M's tribute show particularly special.

For the fifth time fans of the Gothic meets Klassik festival can look forward to a regular concert set presented by the respective lineups on the first festival day (November 4, 2016). The day after, offers an extraordinary concert experience at the venue Gewandhaus: The bands will present themselves in a totally new light as selected songs will be rearranged to be performed together with the entire symphony orchestra from Zielona Góra, Poland.

The lineup for 2016 is nowhere near complete, so one can be curious about further announcements by magnificent bands!
