We are happy to announce four new bands for the festival:
MOONSPELL -MOONSPELL are active since 1989 and release new material regularly – in 2012 actually two albums "Alpha Noir" and "Omage White". With these two highlights it wasn't a difficult choice and now they will come: MOONSPELL at ROCKHARZ 2013!
ARKONA - Female Fronted Pagan Metal isn't exactly common but this hasn't stopped them – quite the contrary: ARKONA from Russia became a well-known part of the scene due to great songs and the charismatic vocalist "Mascha" Archipowa. This year the sixtett will come to the Harz – Please welcome ARKONA!
DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT - "DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT are the future of German Extreme-Metal", wrote Mille Petrozza (KREATOR) on Spiegel Online as he talked about their current album "Unstille", which he rates with 10 of 10 points. The band from Wuerzburg around mastermind Nikita Kamprad has made their way to the Black Metal scene after a short stopover in the Deathcore scene, which definitly didn't have any negative influences. DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT are a might when playing live and therefore we are really happy to present you the band live on stage in the summer of 2013!
GRAILKNIGHTS - Maidservants, fiends, dragons, minnesongs and heroic deed – the knights will come! Their show at ROCKHARZ 2013 will often be praised! We salute the heroes with the polished armour from Grailham City. The mighty GRAILKNIGHTS
