The St Pauli dark metals of LORD OF THE LOST will be loud in autumn: not only do they want more heaviness in autumn after a more than successful acoustic tour in spring (almost all shows were sold out), no, they have immediately stirred great controversy with their autumn tour programme. Namely in the form of the tour slogan – and – poster. Because of numerous critiques there are two posters for the “Make Love, Make War” guest appearance journey now and a hefty statement of the band we don't want to withheld from you. But first, here are all tour dates:

18th Sep  Karlsruhe, Substage
19th Sep  Kaiserslautern, Kammgarn
20th Sep  Nürnberg, Hirsch
24th Sep  Augsburg, Spectrum
25th Sep  Freising, Lindenkeller
03rd Oct Erfurt, HSD
08th Oct Stuttgart, Cann
09th Oct Dresden, Tante Ju

Statement of the band:

“Dear Fans,

We live in a gluten- and lactose free, vegan stevia- and recycling world, in which everything has to be morally flawless and politically correct, biologically recoverable and fair-trade, in which radical art forms a politico and in which one has to contemplate one's words sensitively beforehand regarding wording and formulation with regard to whether one could directly or indirectly insult or hurt some minority, opposition or a group of diverse sub-cultures with obvious statements and rooms for interpretation.

The great nations of the axis of the good nourish themselves and fertilise each other as long as anyone can remember through the arm industry and the consequently necessary wars – and vice versa. “Sex sells” is no secret tip since the last century at the latest but an omnipresent marketing strategy from whose use even we cannot exclude ourselves from. But when it comes to giving the motor of our western world a name and an image like on our recently released tour poster for the ''Make Love, Make War'' tour 2015, some politicians cause an outcry of dismay. “Well, does this band want to glorify war in a pornographic way?” By no means, the grimace of the obvious is ugly. Especially when one sees one's own reflection in it.

Beyond that, our tour poster brought one or the other feminist and feminist movement into the arena. We are accused of glorifying violence against women and likewise discrediting the hard-earned equality of women in uniform. It's almost surprising how a tour poster of this kind scandalises so much in a world in which female teenagers dress partly voluntarily like prostitutes in work clothes favoured by the assortment offered and advertised by textile-discounter chains for young females, inspired by photo-shopped queens of pop, plastic-surgically corrected actresses and international fashion icons where the measure of femininity cannot be achieved soon enough. Cases in which female police offers and women at the military litigate (and win) that their work clothes are not feminine and sexy enough are piling up. Young feminists go topless on the streets in order to fight for the equality of women and the thereby connected presentation of nipples; even though the combat against fire with fire has become so obviously socially acceptable in this world, the surprising outcry of a so obviously winking tour poster echoes back from a forest we didn't plant.

Since we are far away from glorifying war and pornography or discriminating women, we would like to present the morally acceptable version of our poster to all those with raised pointers. A version in which the world is still ok, in which the sun is shining and everything goes according to the plan; exactly like in reality. In order to avoid some misunderstandings we want to eliminate several rooms for interpretation beforehand with a precise description of the image:

-Our marketing icon is of course dressed, the costume is high-necked and contains a tie as an accessory which has been a purely masculine domain for too long.
-The choice of the posture of the legs emphasises the renunciation from the crossing legs which are not contemporary anymore.
-The change of the steel helmet with a coronal should speak for itself.
-Naturally, several piercings or a tunnel were relinquished for this version. We cannot ensure that the portrayed person is not tattooed at all because of her clothes.
-The seemingly pornographic nail polish was removed, of course with acetone-free nail polish remover with bio alcohol on a soya basis, with micro crystals for a nail-gentle abrasion.
-At first, we wanted to exchange the weapon in the hand with a rolling pin but the associated reduction of the female gender role in the homely kitchen didn't seem morally acceptable to us. Instead, a smart phone underlines the business status of our protagonist who seems to be on the road a lot, recognizable by the depicted coffee to go cup which consists of 100% completely compostable natural fibres (of course also the lid!).
-Since the contemporary female is not only good in business but can also be a fantastic mother a milk bottle for the offspring shouldn't be forgotten.
-We even mitigated the tour slogan since “Make Love” with a metal- umlaut “ö” isn't immediately recognizable as an euphemistic expression of sexual intercourse anymore and “Make War” doesn't mean anything anymore with this weird Danish letter.
-And the umbrella... Well, it could rain, you never know.

We hope we could be all things to all politicians from left to right, all women's movements and all worried parents, the depicted poster guarantees to be 100% morally acceptable.

We thank our brother in spirit, Dirk Trashedsoul of our Kiez colleagues EYES SHUT TIGHT from Hamburg for the creation of both versions and we bow to his talent as an artist!

Peace!!!
