Iceland Airwaves has announced the latest round of exceptional artists for the festival, all taking place in Reykjavík 4th - 8th November 2015.

Mercury Rev, SOAK, Lucy Rose, JME and Aurora join the Airwaves 2015 bill, bolstering an already impressive line-up including two shows from Björk, John Grant With The Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Beach House, Father John Misty, Skepta, QT, Battles and Sleaford Mods. The festival also showcases a plethora of excellent Icelandic acts, from Bella Union new signees Mammút, to textural pop from Vök and electronica from Tonik Ensemble plus many others. Correspondingly there's also 31 new Icelandic acts announced today for Airwaves, including Lára Rúnars and Grísalappalísa.

Regarding Björk at Eldborg, Harpa, 7th November 3pm
This performance is included in the Iceland Airwaves ticket price. Tickets will be handed out to festival-goers on a first-come-first-served basis Friday, November 6th at noon in the Media Center at Harpa., The additional show on Tuesday 3rd November at Eldborg in Harpa is now sold out in advance.

Regarding the John Grant + ISO show on Thursday 5th November
This performance is included in the Iceland Airwaves ticket price. Tickets will be handed out to festival-goers on a first-come-first-served basis Thursday, November 5 at noon in the Media Center at Harpa.

Each Iceland Airwaves festival sees artists from all over the world perform in Reykjavík. Artist applications are now online on the festival website.

Since the first edition was held in 1999 in an airplane hangar, Iceland Airwaves has become one of the premier annual showcases for new music – Icelandic and otherwise – in the world. It's made a heap of friends and won many fans along the way, and been lavished with praise pretty much everywhere they write about music.
