dtdaAt the end of 2010, the band were in the studio to cover a song from one of their favorite 90's era bands, HUM, for a tribute album called Songs of Farewell and Departure: A Tribute to HUM  [Pop Up Records-USA].  The band chose HUM's "The Pod" (originally from Hum's You'd Prefer An Astronaut album) and added their own flair to it, which was mixed by Brian   Virtue (who mixed their Distance Waits EP with us).  The song is now up for stream on the Hum Tribute facebook page!   http://listn.to/humtribute

Speaking on covers, just released is a benefit effort for children's relief of the Japanese Tsunami, a low cost for high awareness album called UNITY on Engineer Records and it features exclusively, a very different cover of R.E.M.s "Losing My Religion" in which Craig of (Damn) This Desert Air's sang on. Music by Brian Southall who used to play in The Receiving End of Sirens and Boys Night Out. (The album also features The Gaslight Anthem, Funeral For A Friend, Moneen)  Get an ear on this unique collaboration:
