ninjasparkAfter six years on the forefront of modern dance music the duo known as Ninjaspark ("Ninja kick" in English) has decided to call it a day. After a smash hit debut album and numerous and well visited shows all over Sweden, Norway and France the two members Jim Knutsson and Linus Wadström is now looking at other tasks at hand. Since the first ever show by Ninjaspark took place on December 10 2005 the Swedish label Electric Fantastic Sound will release a Remix EP of unreleased tracks on December 10 2011, and the band will perform on a very last show at a secret location only known to selected invitees.

The wild bit pop of Ninjaspark has been frowned upon by some but loved by many. "We appeared on the Swedish TV show 'Talang' ('Talent' in English) and got ruthlessly beaten down by one of Swedens most famous record label executives Bert Karlsson which was sort of cool" says frontman Jim Knutsson. "However, we played the Arvikafestival in Sweden and the show had to be stopped for security reasons - there were simply too many people trying to get into the venue we were playing!"

In the future Jim will focus more on his new band Slutet ("The End" in English) and continue to DJ at local clubs in Göteborg, Sweden. Linus will continue to be true to his school and is eagerly awaiting the future. Don't be surpriced if these two gentlemen show up somehow, somewhere sometime.
