With a catchy rock / nu-metal sound and a clear spiritual and social message, SKILLET has settled their name in the US for good. The group was founded in 1996 in Memphis and has so far released several albums and performed numerous stages all over the world. Their 2012 album ‘Awake’ got platinum in the States and their 2013 album ‘Rise’ increased their fan base significantly. With the addition of traditional instruments their sound became more characteristic and nuanced. SKILLET visited the Netherlands before, taking the stage at Fortarock festival and supporting NICKELBACK. In October they will headline at 013!
