Peter Heppner – Acoustic
The German singer / songwriter with the distinguished voice is surely known by many from the very successful Synth Pop duo WOLFSHEIM where he was the singer and songwriter from 1987 to 2007. Signing in 2005 a contract for his solo project at a major label, he launched his first album ‘Solo’ in 2008. The first single of the album reached quickly the Top 20 of the German charts. With the second album ‘My heart of stone’ he successfully entered the charts of all German- speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
But you might also know him from being guest singer of various bands and musicians like GOETHES ERBEN, SCHILLER, MILÚ, MARIANNE ROSENBERG, PAUL VAN DYK and JOACHIM WITT of course, just to mention only a few. The duet with JOACHIM WITT at the song ‘Die Flut (The flood) was one of the most successful hits for both musicians, being in the Top 10 for many weeks in all German speaking countries and for selling 500,000 singles alone in Germany they were awarded with platinum. The lyrics of his songs are in English as well as in German language.
In November, PETER HEPPNER is busily touring in Germany, but on this date in the Christuskirche (Christ church) he will present us a very special show as it will be an acoustic concert. With the special acoustic of the church you have the chance to enjoy his recognisable voice even more.
