kittyinacasket kissandhellKITTY IN A CASKET in a bomb, behind them the apocalypse. What a picture! Lots of questions and only one possibility to solve the riddle: Comprehensive enlightenment comes with ‘Kiss & Hell’, the new album of the Punk’n’Roll band. ‘Kiss & Hell’ is not only the fourth album of the band, but so far the most authentic one. Why? It is because of the stirring vitality the band not only performs on stage. It is because of the superb morbid charm in their lyrics, always with a blink of course. It is because of the compositional variety of their catching songs, moving between harsh and sensitive, between humorous and deeply serious, between fictive and autobiographical.

But ‘Kiss & Hell’ has another, for KITTY IN A CASKET new side. It reaches from simple, wonderfully airy Fun-Punk track ‘St. Tropez’ over the German ‘Feuer & Eis’ sounding more aggressive than usually, to the final acoustic song ‘Gone’ talking about a very personal and tragic story of her life. ‘Kiss & Hell’ was produced by KITTY IN A CASKET guitarist Billy The Bat and mixed by Marc van Dark, first bassist of the band. The thirteen new songs were mastered at the Sage Audio Nashville Mastering Studio in Nashville.
