Finally: The presale for ROCK IM REVIER begins! On Thursday, 9th April at 9 am! ROCK IM REVIER brings the most wicked rock bands of the world to the Ruhr area. METALLICA, MUSE, KISS and numerous great acts of the rock circus come from 29th to 31st May to the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
Up to 70 bands will shake the grounds of the stadium area at the end of May on three days. Rock with internationally significant bands like METALLICA, FAITH NO MORE, WITHIN TEMPTATION and many others on Friday, the 29th May, MUSE, INCUBUS, LIMP BIZKIT, THE HIVES and many others on Saturday, the 30th May and KISS, JUDAS PRIEST, AIRBOURNE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and several more on Sunday, the 31st May. Besides the performance of the band KREATOR that already plays the region six days before nothing has changed for the originally confirmed line-up of the “Der Ring – Grüne Hölle Rock”, the festival that moved from the Nürburgring now under a different name to Gelsenkirchen.
The main stage is situated in the Veltins Arena, which is played at until 11pm – during good weather naturally open air. The second stage is on the same area in the Emscher-Lippe Halle, an application procedure for a further open air stage has been instructed already. In the interest of the fans, food and drinks can be purchased with cash but also with the payment system of Schalke 04, the Knappenkarte. Generous camping areas will be available to the campers. Since the negotiations are shortly coming to an end, details will be published soon. Free shuttles will take the fans to the area and guarantee a smooth and uncomplicated procedure. The best sound will be provided. Extensive measures to optimise the sound in the arena are scheduled. This way, the walls between interior and stands will be quietened with acoustic material, and much more. The audio engineer who has shown his skills at METALLICA's show in the Veltins Arena already is also aboard again.

The pre-sale for ROCK IM REVIER at the Veltins Arena begins on Thursday, 9th April at 9 am. Tickets are available at the hotline +49 (0) 1806-57 00 70 (0.20€/landline call, mobile max. 0.60€/call) or online at EVENTIM. Tickets for ROCK IM REVIER are 69€ incl. all fees per day. 3-day tickets at the price of 179€ are also available.
The Veltins Arena has written rock history with a long rock tradition and legendary shows and numerous big bands with world fame. For ROCK IM REVIER, the arena roof will be opened during good weather so that an unique open air atmosphere can be managed. On the other hand side, visitors will be guaranteed a dry place during rain. All tickets for the former “Der Ring – Grüne Hölle Rock” remain valid for ROCK IM REVIER for the infield, thus guaranteeing the best places. Those who have other plans can exchange their tickets for “Der Ring – Grüne Hölle Rock” for the ROCKAVARIA in Munich or can return them where they were bought.
ATTENTION: The tickets for ROCK IM REVIER are limited to a certain quantity, since the spare capacities are already reserved for the already purchased tickets for “Der Ring – Grüne Hölle Rock”.
