The concerts of the Tollwood summer festival 2015 are set: Roisin Murphy completes the programme in the music arena

Munich - International acts in the music arena: The musician Roisin Murphy (ex-MOLOKO) completes the programme in the music arena of the Tollwood summer festival 2015 that is taking place from the 24th June to the 19th July in the Olympiapark Süd. The musician who became famous with her duo MOLOKO presents her new solo programme as well as her same-titles new record ‘Hairless Toys’ on the 9th July.

Countless further stars of the music scene also appear at the Tollwood summer festival: “The Tiger” – Sir Tom Jones, jazz wonder Gregory Porter, folk icon Joan Baez, chart stormer Passenger, rapper and singer-songwriter Clueso, punk rock legend Patti Smith and many more new as well as known artists. Three current ECHO award winners 2015 are also among them: Kollegah, Lindsey Stirling and ZAZ. “We are really excited to be able to present such a great artistic variety this year.”, explains Mathias Schaettgen as the booker of the music arena. “The presale being this successful already enforces us in the belief that we will experience some fantastic concert moments in the music arena tent together with the artists and Tollwood visitors.”

The program in the Tollwood music arena in detail

Roger Hodgson & Band (24.6.15)
The co-founder, former singer and composer of the band SUPERTRAMP, Roger Hodgson, will start off the summer festival with his performance. Together with his band he will present hits from SUPERTRAMP times and songs from his solo career.

Kollegah (25.06.15)
He is one of the big ones of the German hip hop scene. He dominated the rap charts in 2014 with his record ‘King’ and found himself in the yearly Top Ten of all pop genres closely behind stars like AC/DC and Herbert Grönemeyer.

Konstantin Wecker (26.6.15)
“Tollwood old hand” Konstantin Wecker is reliable. The famous songwriter celebrates his 40th stage anniversary in 2015, of course also with a performance in the music arena.

Dieter Thomas Kuhn & Band (27.6.15)
Schlager is in and not only since Helene Fischer! The always sold out concerts of Dieter Thomas Kuhn at the Tollwood prove that. That's why the successful story is to be continued in 2015.

Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung meets Wolfgang Ambros (28.06.15)
Two of the most successful Austrian music acts will stand together on the music arena stage: cult band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung (EAV) and singer-songwriter Wolfgang Ambros.

Status Quo & special guest: Uriah Heep (29.06.15)
‘Lady in Black’ meets ‘Rockin' All Over The World’. It promises to be a Tollwood evening with a high hit frequency!

Jackson Browne (30.06.15)
The US folk rock legend Jackson Browne celebrated an extraordinary comeback with ‘Standing in the breach’. Now, the US musician is coming back to Germany, also for a concert at the Tollwood Festival.

Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club (1.7.15)
Together on tour for the last time: The Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club understands like no other band to bring the Cuban soulfulness and music on stage. After 17 years, the musicians say goodbye to their fans with their “Adios” tour.

Michl Müller (2.7.15)
The cabaret artist Michl Müller, known because of “Fastnacht in Franken'', will present his current programme “Ausfahrt freihalten”.

Gregory Porter & Metropole Orchestra (3.7.15)
With Grammy winner Gregory Porter, one of the hottest jazz acts at the moment is to visit the festival. “The man with the hat” will be accompanied by the 50-strong Metropole Orchestra from the Netherlands.

Jennifer Rostock (4.7.15)
Jennifer Rostock released their fourth studio record ‘Schlaflos’ in 2014. The band will play various styles from electro pop to punk and rock to glam in the music arena.

Haindling (5.7.15)
After 15 studio records and almost 35 years stage experience, the Bavarian cult band Haindling still hasn't gotten quiet.

Tom Jones (6.7.15)
Entertainer legend Sir Tom Jones who's been thrilling generations of women with his voice and his hip swing honours the stage of the music arena for the first time.

ZAZ (7.7.15)
The French nouvelle chanson singer ZAZ comes back  in 2015 to the festival after a sold out concert last year.

Max Herre & Kahedi Radio Orchestra (8.7.15)
After two sold out shows at the summer festival 2014, Max Herre comes back to the festival for another show. Fetsum, Afrob und many further artists are expected.

Roisin Murphy (9.7.15)
The singer of the legendary duo MOLOKO, that caused a sensation in the 90s, is back. In May 2015 her already third solo record ‘Hairless Toys’ is to be released – which she will of course present at the festival.

Lindsey Stirling (10.7.2015)
Lindsey Stirling proves that violin sounds can be combined with electronic music. An extraordinary performance awaits the visitor.

Joan Baez (11.7.15)
The folk icon and civil rights activist Joan Baez comes for one of five Germany shows to the festival.

Clueso & special guest Joris (12.7.15)
The German musician, producer and songwriter Clueso brings his new record ‘Stadtrandlichter’ along. Fans can look forward to famous hits like ‘Chicago’. He is joined by whiz kid Joris.

Patti Smith & her band perform Horses (13.7.15)
The punk rock legend plays one of her seven Germany shows at Tollwood. Her debut ‘Horses’ from 1975 is considered a classic nowadays and is the focus of her performance.

Cypress Hill (14.7.15)
The US-American hip hop band will be on stage of the music arena for the first time. The band has sold 18 million record since its founding in 1988.

Martina Schwarzmann (15.7.15) (currently sold out)
The Upper Bavarian cabaret artist is bringing her current stage programme “Gscheid gfreid” to the festival.

Willy Astor (16.7.15)
The master of word acrobatics celebrates the Munich premiere of his new programme “Reim Time” at the Tollwood.

Schmidbauer & Kälberer invite: the Bananafishbones (17.7.15)
Their song evenings are legendary, also because the duo tends to invite musical guests: this year the Bananafishbones from Bad Tölz.

Santiano (18.7.15)
The echo award winners are also welcome in the South: the North men play shanty rock and Irish folk.

Passenger & special guest (19.7.15)
The British musician gives his farewell show. “The man with the guitar” presents his current record ‘Whispers’.
