A Summer’s Tale 2015 with Patti Smith, Damien Rice, Zaz, Belle & Sebastian, Calexico, Yann Tiersen, Mighty Oaks, Sophie Hunger, William Fitzsimmons, Nneka and many more.

For the first time, the new, genre-overarching festival A Summer's Tale is going to take place in Luhmühlen (approx. 20Km west from Lüneburg) in August 2015. From Wednesday, 5th August to Saturday, 8th August, A Summer's Tale offers a diverse cultural program that exceeds the frame of a music festival for four days in total.

Art exhibitions and installations, lectures, poetry slams, film performances and acrobatics will complement the music program that will be comprised of the genres rock, pop, indie, singer/ songwriter, folk, selected DJ gigs and experimental sounds. But that's not all. The visitor will get the chance of becoming active themselves. There will be different workshops, courses and D.I.Y. sessions that challenge the own creativity of the visitor. Numerous possibilities for leisure activities from beach volleyball to yoga and excursions into the Green in a canoe or by bike will provide for variety on the festival grounds and open new horizons.

Besides, A Summer's Tale stands for pleasure and comfort. The culinary offer relies on high-quality dishes that are made of generally regionally and ecologically produced goods. Vegetarians and vegans will not be forgotten. Regarding the topic living, the new festival reacts to the visitors' preferences. Those can choose between a stay in their own tent, caravan or a comfort accommodation or purchase a ticket without any sleepover possibilities on the festival grounds. The ticket variants of A Summer's tale offer a high degree of flexibility so that everyone can shape their festival the way they want to. The ticket configurator www.asummerstale.de helps in finding the right ticket quickly.

All in all, around 10,000 will find place on the festival site to celebrate together. Anyone will have his individual space with recreation areas. So, A Summer’s Tale can be visited by the whole family. Because of its location in the middle of the nature park Lüneburger Heide (not far from Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover), A Summer's Tale forges a bridge between festival and vacation. The respectful treatment of the surrounding nature is manifested deeply into the festival concept. The presale A Summer's Tale 2015 started on 6th November 2014 at 11 am. Tickets are available from 69- € incl. presale costs. The tickets can be purchased online at www.asummerstale.de or via phone under +49 (0) 180 6-853 653 (0.20€/ landline call, mobile max. 0.60€/ call).
