It's finally out! When we announced a few, very intimate shows of FRANK TURNER for the beginning of September we already indicated that those will definitely not be the last ones, especially if one has a look at the continuously growing number of shows on his homepage. Everyone who didn't get tickets for the highly demanded shows a few weeks before is allowed to exhale now: Frank comes back on an extended tour through the bigger venues in January again! Together with his Sleeping Souls, the known energetic rock show and the songs of his new and sixth studio album ‘Positive Songs for Negative People’.
Also this record deals with the great themes of life like a majority of Turner's music and prevails over the worst experiences and raps it into a mix of wonderful, intricate doodles and powerful hymns. Overall, the record reflects the way which Frank Turner has passed in the last 10 years. Or how he says himself: “I think that this record is really on point. It's a summary and the result of the first five records. It was almost completely recorded live and the final result is precisely like I wanted it to be.” He has created islands and built strong connections, it testifies the punk past as well as his singer/songwriter quality. And one doesn't have to convince anyone anymore how great FRANK TURNER is live.
