CHEMICAL BROTHERS are coming for one single concert to Germany! The band is active since the nineties. Like barely another band, CHEMICAL BROTHERS unite Alternative Rock fans and friends of electronic music. Like only a few other acts, Ed Simons and Tim Rowlands have numerous fans in both camps. The Brits are valued especially because if their enthusing live shows.
In 2015, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS surprised the world with a fulminant come-back album, called ‘Born In The Echos’. Now on 9th September 2016, the duo will play a single Germany show at the Amphi theatre in Gelsenkirchen. Congenially, the duo combined the best of two worlds – Pop and Underground, electronic beats and catchy hook lines, harsh electro rhythms and flowing melodies. Might it be the first hit ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’, ‘Setting Sun’ (vocals: Noel Gallagher from Oasis), ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, ‘Star Guitar’, ‘The Golden Path’ (with Flaming Lips) or ‘Galvanize’ receiving a Grammy Award as “best dance recording“ in 2005, the concerts of the duo are quite legendary when it comes to intensity, light show and racket – they set standards in electronic music.
