Bob Dylan and his Band

Bob Dylan is undoubtedly the most important single interpreter of the Rock era, as an incarnation of a counterculture and songwriter of the century. The exceptional artist means "the same as Einstein for physics," wrote US news magazine Newsweek. The outstanding importance of Bob Dylan now also found expression in the Nobel Prize for Literature, which he received as the only musician to date. The numerous Grammy awards, also for his life work, document the great recognition of the genius singer / songwriter in the music world. Now the pioneer of folk and rock music, whose total edition is more than 110 million records, will come to live concerts in Germany in spring 2017. Between April 11 and April 25, he is a guest in Hamburg, Lingen, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.

Dylan songs are not just classic, but life-like poetry. Many of them have entered American literature: ‘The Times They are A-Changin’’, ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’, ‘Like a Rolling Stone’, ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’, ‘Chimes of Freedom’ - to name just a few. His memoirs ‘Dylan's Chronicles - Volume 1’ were a worldwide bestseller and ranked 19 weeks in the “The New York Times” list. He was awarded a Pulitzer Special Prize for his “profound significance for populism and American culture”. In 2014, his legendary concert in New York's Madison Square Garden on October 16, 1992 was released on DVD and Blu-ray for the first time under the title ‘The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration - Deluxe Edition’. A highlight for every Bob Dylan fan, which of course can only be topped by a visit to one of his live performances in spring 2017.
