We Are Scientists “Helter Seltzer” Tour 2017 with Special Guest: Consolers
No sooner did the New York Power Pop group WE ARE SCIENTISTS return with their fifth studio album ‘Helter Seltzer’, they are already announcing their live dates in Germany. ‘Helter Seltzer’ is, according to their own statement, their most crazy album so far, for which they were able to win their former keyboarder Max Hart as producer. He brought in all his magical abilities to make the album shine and at the same time to crack.
The songs were mixed by Chris Coady (Future Islands, Beach House, etc.) in L.A., the ears of Greg Calbi (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Noel Gallagher, Perfume Genius, etc.) added a deluxe mastering to the songs. The band itself puzzled for a long time into which genre they should be classified. It's not Punk since they're trying too hard to give their songs a certain beauty... It's not straight Rock either, they're too far from the mainstream... It's not Indie Rock, they're not self-loving enough. In short, WE ARE SCIENTISTS decided that they had created their own genre with ’Helter Seltzer’.
