Amphi Festival 2012: THE SISTERS OF MERCY, EISBRECHER, APOPTYGMA BERZERK, AND ONE, BLUTENGEL, PROJECT PITCHFORK and many more

Cologne, the German city, harbouring that famous little cathedral calls all dark creatures back to the Rheinpark grounds again, for the Amphi festival is close to taking off again. Also in 2010, the organizers have thought of a diversified line-up to make the in parts long journeys some fans are taking on worth the while. THE SISTERS OF MERCY and AND ONE surely are names to mention here first. But there are so many more to mention…

There will be several autograph sessions again. Details will be posted on the festival website soon.


Gothic-Family.net

Germany’s largest online community for Gothic and Medieval interested parents + popular monthly scene magazine is again with a big merchandising and information stall and a children’s play area (numerous innovations!) part of the family-friendly Amphi-Festival at the Tanzbrunnen, Cologne. You can find the area close to the playground in a side passage of the trading area. Here they offer families the ideal meeting point and location during the festival, including games and leisure time opportunities for kids. A small, separated area for nursing, changing diapers, preparing baby bottles is included!

Additional offerings are:
    Band-Meetings in a family atmosphere (including autographs/taking photos)
    GFN Photo Exposition
    Famous "Draw without losers" ;)
    funny printed shirts for all sizes (babies, children, grown-ups)
    extravagant baby and children clothing + accessories + souvenirs

Additional highlights are in preparation, such as a guided role-play for children, a rental of professional ear protection for kids, trial of new board games, also. The weekend ticket costs 62 EUR, day tickets can be purchased for 45 EUR each day. The weekend camping ticket is available for 24.90 EUR. Furthermore, you can buy festival tickets online at http://www.dark-ticket.de/, via phone at +49(0)1805 - 568200 (0.14 €/min. from German fixed network) and at all nationwide CTS/EVENTIM, Ticketmaster and Ticket-Online box-offices.
