Russian duo COLD DESIGN presents with its album ‘Summer will soon be here’ a mixture of Electro and a pinch of so-called Military Pop. The special thing with this album is, that the band is not singing in English but in their mother tongue, making it of course difficult to dig into the lyrics if you don’t speak Russian. So it’s the music to concentrate on for us. The songs are catchy with interesting instrumentation. Nothing really new or innovative is presented, but the Russian vocals bear a special spirit. Furthermore the album contains some remixes and a cover version.
Conclusion: If you like electro music with a poppy touch and could befriend with the Russian lyrics, you should give this album a spin.
