Motionless In White – “The Graveyard Shift” European Tour 2018 – Special guests: Cane Hill & Ice Nine Kills

Originally, the Metalcore Goth band MOTIONLESS IN WHITE was scheduled to play the cozy Cologne club Luxor, but due to popular demand the concert had to be upgraded to the more spacious Essigfabrik in Cologne. This is certainly a sign that things are going well for the band on its first European headline tour, of which Cologne was the last stop, before the band headed home to the US.

Steel Panther & Fozzy

STEEL PANTHER is now known as the greatest neo-metal, glam throwback parody band, have four full length albums, platinum level YouTube status, high profile television appearances, tour across the world and are notorious. Ultimately though, this fearsome four just hopes heavy metal can bring about world peace. Currently the band is touring in support of their latest effort, ‘Lower the Bar’, which was released in March 2017. FOZZY and STEEL PANTHER entertained us with their hilarious songs last night, the 7th of February 2018 at the “den Atelier”.

Nils Frahm - “All Melody“

On November 13th, the German composer finally let us all know what he has been doing during the last year... just in case we were wondering (in his own words). His new album ‘All Melody’ was released on January 26th - a symbiosis of organic instruments and electronics, embracing the listener with a wall of sound that sounds familiar and completely new as well - just like we know it from the Berlin based artist. Frahm proved over the years that there is space for electronic instruments in a classical environment. Furthermore he plays a leading role in forming the genre of neoclassic and avant-garde. After a lot of great collaborations in the last years, such as with OLAFUR ARMALDS and WOODKID, he is finally back on tour, solo, also stopping at Cologne’s wonderful sounding Philharmonie.

Motionless In White, Cane Hill & Ice Nine Kills

Another treat awaited the Berlin audience this evening. Originally, this concert was planned for the “Musik und Frieden” club, but the organisers quickly realized that this smaller space would not be enough for the fans of this well-known band from the USA. It was moved to the beautiful Columbia Theater at Berlin Tempelhof instead.

A-HA - “MTV Unplugged Tour” - Support: Alexander Knappe

8,000 music lovers got together at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne for an acoustic evening with A-HA.  The almost two-hour show allowed the fans to live a memorable experience with the synth pop heroes in an atmosphere that was almost meditative in their best moments.
