Solar Fake - Support: Mental Exile
Yesterday, Sven Friedrich took the stage at Kulttempel with MORPHOSE, and today he’s performing there again, this time with his colleagues from SOLAR FAKE, almost twice in a row. Joining them as a special guest is MENTAL EXILE. Singer Damasius Venys has already shared the stage with SOLAR FAKE as support multiple times this year. However, he did so with FUTURE LIED TO US, the collaborative project with Vasi Vallis and Krischan Jan-Eric Wesenberg. Today, he’s performing with his solo project, MENTAL EXILE, where he is supported live by his partner Daniele Jaeger. And the two of them have a surprise guest with them as well, but more on that later.

Powerwolf - “Wolfsherbst Tour 2023” - Support: Serenity, Lord of the Lost
The wolves are howling again: for Halloween, POWERWOLF called their community to a mass in Düsseldorf, and a great many of fans came for the start of the “Wolfsherbst Tour 2023”. POWERWOLF alone is reason enough to attend a concert. But this visit was made even sweeter by the selection of support bands: Symphonic Metal by SERENITY was meant to kick off the evening, followed by the Dark Rock of LORD OF THE LOST to keep the mood going before the powerful main part should begin.

Morphose - Support: Bon Harris & JanRevolution
On 13th October, Christoph Schauer released his first official album, ‘The Open Shutter’, with his unique project MORPHOSE. We extensively explored it here. For the physical release on 27th October, MORPHOSE are performing at Kulttempel Oberhausen. JANREVOLUTION and Bon Harris (NITZER EBB) are invited as special guests, and we certainly didn’t miss the first of four release shows (two of them in support of NEUROTICFISH).

Haevn - “European Tour 2023”
The band HAEVN, one of the now best-known bands from the Netherlands, gave their first concert of the European tour outside their home country in Cologne. Founded in Amsterdam by film composer Jorrit Kleijnen and singer/ songwriter Marijn van der Meer, the two have gained a large fan base with their music in recent years. Not only in the Netherlands, but also far beyond the borders. https://www.haevnmusic.com / https://www.facebook.com/haevnmusic

Larkin Poe - “Blood Harmony 2023 UK & Europe Tour” - Support: The Sheepdogs
Things are going well for LARKIN POE: their last studio albums all made it to #1 on the Billboard Blues album charts. Not surprisingly, sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell now have a Grammy nomination in their bag. From the beginning of October to the beginning of November 2023, LARKIN POE play ever larger halls all over Europe to present their current album ‘Blood Harmony’. We were able to see the band at the E-Werk in Cologne. The club was not only really packed. No, in addition to the audience, the German TV station WDR was there, recording the concert of the two acts of the evening to broadcast them on WDR on 20 November 2023 between 02.20 - 04.25 am.
