Introduction
THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA is a band from Switzerland, formed in 2005 and consisting of Michael Sele, Martin Luzio and Mac Vinzens. All members are known as members, respectively live members of the Dark Wave Band NUUK. DIARY OF A LOST is the debut album of THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA and will be released on 26th January 2007 in Switzerland and on 2nd February in Germany and Austria.

Song Review
01. Suicide landscape - 3.58
After a short intro, the melodic voice starts the track and pushes it to the refrain. Nice to listen to and very danceable. A good opener for the album.
02. One step to heaven - 4:09
Danceable too and the beat goes a little bit higher. The vocals are a kind of rap.
03. Hunters - 5:49
The guitars dominate this song, perfected by the voice.
04. Kingdoms of cancer - 4:59
The song starts quietly by the synthesizer intro, than the louder guitar riffs push the song forward. The vocals are pushing too.
05. Victims of love (Qui tollis) - 5:06
Pushing beats and synthesizer-lines mark this song. The vocals sound like hounded. The high tempo animates the legs to dance.
06. Forgiveness - 5:54
This one is a nice ballad, started by a long melodic piano-intro.
07. Nevertime - 4:20
It is another danceable song dominated by guitars, drums and the typical voice.
08. Trapped - 4:46
Disharmonic industrial sounds and a crying voice too, I don't like this song.
09. Monsters in me - 6:30
The melodic voice is back. After a long intro the dark voice dominates the sound.
10. Fight song - 4:29
The catchy sounds infect the legs. The guitars dominate.
11. Isle of desire - 4:53
The tempo goes slowly, the melodic vocals dominate.
12. Lovehate - 4:54
It starts by a voice-sample, followed by a quick intro, the voice-samples repeat several times during the song.
13. La rêve de L’infidèle - 8:17
The last song is a romantic melodic instrumental track to finish the album.

Conclusion
Catchy sounds, danceable rhythms and dark romantic vocals – this album is easy to listen to and inciting to dance. It is a solid debut album and a developable base. The charismatic voice and the pushing beats infect quickly. Outstanding are ‘Forgiveness’ - the ballad in the middle - and ‘La rêve de L’infidèle’ - the instrumental at the end. My favourites are ‘Suicide landscape’ and ‘Forgiveness’.
