The band from London was formed in 2010 and released the demo ‘Cut the Crap’ in 2011, now they bring their first long-player titled ‘The First’. They use influences from classics like BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN and other Metal heroes. Nothing that sounds even an inch like the so called Metal of today, you could sell it as a long lost NWOBHM LP nobody will not believe you. Very cool is outro of side one ‘The Flight’ completely synth instrumental which could be in the score of a movie like ‘Assault on precinct 13’ or one of those Italian ‘Mad Max’ clones.
Side two begins with the Metal instrumental ‘Talisman’, which is followed by six more Heavy Metal masterpieces. Maybe the vocals may be to strange for some people, they remind me sometimes to old Belladonna ANTHRAX. Hopefully there will be more of this guys, who are very active in the Metal underground and band members helped to organise London’s “Life Evil Festival” and gigs for bands like CLOVEN HOOF and PAGAN ALTAR. AMULET is a must have for all fans of real Metal without trendy bullshit influences, not for those SABATON and HAMMERFALL kids.
