Album Review

BRAINSTORM's ‘Memorial Roots’ delivers 11 tracks of absolute power metal you won't be able to resist. Opening up with ‘Forsake What I Believed’, it immediately brings out the classy power metal vibrations with the smooth guitar riffs with catchy solos that make the music bounce while the vocals smooth themselves out to follow right along with the rest of the music in the backdrop. As the album continues to unveil itself, ‘Nailed down Dreams’, ‘Blood Still Stains’ along with ‘The Final Stages of Decay’ and ‘Victim’ are just the handful of tunes that bring out the music even further than the opener had done.

These selected tunes showcase the lyrics which captive their lyrical themes and passages around you letting the music entangle it within you as the guitars and drumming tactics releases their creative uniqueness and display a motivating passion that the music is showing. BRAINSTORM’s ‘Memorial Roots’ indeed does bring out the band’s more older roots and memories all thrown together to establish this album that truly displays everything that an album should.
