Music & Performance
The stage was decorated caring with a big photo print at the back wall which showed a night view out to the ocean and some oil lamps were standing on the stage. Laura entered in time with a white romantic robe. First song which was performed was from the new album called 'Lilies'. Concentrated of her voice and the drums: Less 80th rhythms than known from the old album. 'WAGTD', 'Glass' and 'Travelling Woman' brings the crowd to be totally there. It was not a big deal, because Laura is a very present performer with a lot of energy and spirit. There is no comparison to hear songs on CD or see the band live. Her voice is absolutely amazing!

The Song 'Laura' (http://vimeo.com/45426593) was a single woman performance with a piano backing and the hall was filled without many amplifier or technology. The audience was in a kind of shock rigid or had to cry because it was so beautiful! 'Lumen' was performed a-capella. Get used to is are new ones 'Oh Yeah' and 'Marilyn' because there are much experimental parts to hear. 'All Your Gold' reminiscent of the old album. Followed by the old songs 'Trophy' and 'Prescilla', taken from the album 'Fur and Gold' (2007) which were faster with clapping hands, harp and trumpet. They played two encores and 'Daniel' was a perfect completion. Gunnar Klack wrote in the magazine Spex last year: “Two suns are more than music. With hints, pictures and allusion invent BFL a whole universe.”

And that is a good description for that fantastic evening! Really good craft but passion, too! Nearly the best voice of Great Britain!
