Album Review

GRAVE are one of the most well known Swedish death metal bands. They started in 1986, in 1988 they released their first demo and in 1991 they released their first album titled 'Into the Grave'. The band went on hiatus in 1997, but got back together two years later. The only constant member since the beginning is Ola Lindgren (guitars, vocals). In 2012, GRAVE are back in Century Media, the label where they began, and they release their 10th studio album. About the music in the album don't expect keyboards, sweet melodies and female vocals. GRAVE are doing what they know to do the last 20+ years, pure death metal and they are doing it well. We have vocals from the gutter powerful guitars with the characteristic Swedish death metal sound and fast speed. Exactly what a death metal fan wants to listen to. The production (made by Lindgren) is very good and this makes the songs sounds more powerful. Also this is the first album with GRAVE for Tobias Cristiansson (ex-Dismember) on bass and Mika Lagrén on guitars. I'm sure this album won't disappoint GRAVE fans and oldschool death metal fans too. So if you are a death metal head check 'Endless Procession of Souls' and drown your soul into GRAVE’s sound.
