Artist: Hell
Title: The Age Of Nefarious (EP)
Genre: Heavy Metal
Release Date: 25th October 2013
Label: Nuclear Blast Records

EP Review

HELL were initially formed in 1982, but dissolved in 1987. Although more or less disregarded by the media back then and their music somewhat gained a cult status. As a teaser for their most recent album ‘Curse & Chapter’, they released an EP one month in advance. ‘The Age Of Nefarious’ does not only contain a previously unreleased song of the same name, which provides a foretaste for ‘Curse & Chapter’, but also three live recordings from the debut ‘Human Remains’ (2011), which also illustrate the live abilities of HELL and are well recorded. The EP definitely serves as a nice appetizer and is probably not to be missed by any fan of the band to pass the time before the actual release of the album.
