Album Review

FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND a Welsh Rock’n’Roll act from the marry old U.K. terrain who have brought their style of music to a whole new level since 2001 with the accomplishments of four LPs. Their fifth one is ‘Your History is Mine’. But will it live up to its past achievements? To be honest, this 16-track progression of rock with added flare of screams in between comes at a point where the music sounds energetic but half the time drowns out so quickly all that energetic side falls out. Only certain tunes tend to stick out like ‘Escape Artists Never Die’, ‘Walk Away’ and ‘Kicking and Screaming’. These tunes selected are the only ones that bring out the music that FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND is trying to produce. The lyrics are intense and show real passion and attitude that you can instantly relate too while the music easily blends in and mixes it altogether into a modern music twister.
