The promo EP entitled with `Seelenjagd´ is available in the shop you will find at the German Electro trio’s website that is listed below. René Hentzschel (vocals, lyrics), Matthias Marko (programming, synths) and Markus Otto (samples, management) released their debut album `Transponder´ in 2002; the second one `Rouge et Noir´ was recorded in 2007. Furthermore, HEAD-LESS has been responsible for various promo and EP releases. Moreover, they contributed some tracks to several compilations. `Seelenjagd´ is the most recent release from the house of HEAD-LESS containing all in all 14 tracks that feature live versions as well as remixes. The band has already toured with formations such as DE/VISION, FUNKER VOGT, CAMOUFLAGE, MESH or PROJECT PITCHFORK.
This catalogue of the Electro scene’s big names may be informative regarding the musical style HEAD-LESS represents: Up-tempo, danceable and powerful Electro with a pinch of Pop and Industrial. With regard to the track list, the most dominant feature is `Triebjagd´ which can be heard in several remixes. I particularly appreciated `Triebjagd (Seducer Edit)´ that comes as a real bombshell which is at the same time melodic and catchy. The live versions of `Catch a Bitch´ and `Ship of Agony´ are an attractive foretaste of what you will experience when you attend a HEAD-LESS concert. Concerning the music, this EP doesn’t offer really innovative material but fans of the aforementioned artists will also be pleased with `Seelenjagd´.
