Album Review

Nu metal is the genre that is often used when several elements within the musical category is being thrown into one spiralling circle. Such as nu metal mixed with alternative this combination takes two different genres and enforces the two to clash together to unleash HAMLET's ‘La Puta Y El Diablo’. By doing this type of clashing several other enforcements are drawn in such as the language for one, this band singing completely in Spanish throughout the entire album which brings on a more uniqueness altogether than your average English language act.

‘La Tentación’, ‘Revolución’ or ‘Sacrificio’ are the tunes that tend to stand out the most because the guitar usage and drums can be heard loud and clear whereas the vocals can be heard but don’t manage to stand their ground so their sound is often misheard. While the lyrics are enforced with such pride and powerful meaning that draws in the listener to instantly understand the whole meaning behind what Hamlet is discussing within their music. ‘La Puta Y El Diablo’, is an album HAMLET has impacted to enforce their listeners to get into the beat of the music that never tends to let you down or get out of style.
