Album Review
The band had not even started yesterday but in 2006 and they needed about full four years to release their debut upcoming October. So, the expectation should be a bit higher like towards fully inexperienced musicians. But from my point of view the whole album is nothing new. That’s nothing that will make this album worse or just bad. It only takes the illusion getting something really new. The guitars are full metal-like, the drums high paced and the leading guitar is present, as good as possible and with some surprising sounds. But the voice of Dante Frost has got the problem being the leader, not even the follower. He tried to change the pitch of his voice but the softer parts should be the part of somebody else. The cookie-voices full realistic will be better for the Dark Rock sounds compared to the softer parts. But the woman, who has some parts within some songs, goes with the rest of the sounds hand in hand.
Listening to more than just the sounds you maybe heard from MEGAHERZ, EISBRECHER or even RAMMSTEIN, the lyrics are even a bit fair minded... i.e. I don’t know what is meant with “the devil is cool or horny”. Would be a secret to somebody else? Just the title of the album will be a challenge to the conservative personal qualities of family and religion. ‘Gehorche (Obey), Fühle (Feel), Glaube (Believe)’. But the sounds from most common tracks are better than the lyrics and the voice together. If German is not your mother tongue, enjoy the really great rhythm and beats within, just if you like music called “Neue Deutsche Härte”. Instrumental parts like in the curse of ‘Küss mich’ are just professional, the beginning of most tracks is sophisticated but then again they all sound too similar! This is a “nice” debut-album… just… nice…
