Album Review
The debut album of electronic project NEO (New Electronic Order) starts with an intro which quite clearly gives to understand what kind of music we should expect. “Welcome to the industrial paradise!” Well whether this is true or not, listeners will decide for themselves. As for me, I can’t make any speculations judging by the opening piece because it’s not too impressive. The next track reminds again that we are listening to industrial and nothing else. But actually it’s easy to notice such transparent hint in almost each composition, not to mention the title of the album. ‘E-Fight’ sounds better than its predecessors yet the intonation of the female voice spoils the general impression of the song. The rest of the material doesn’t promise to break the spell of monotony and amaze you however some rays of sunlight are provided by ‘Irre explodieren nicht’ and ‘War of Fidelity’. Unfortunately they don’t save the day. All in all, the album is not bad, yet it doesn’t bring anything fresh or interesting. Perhaps, fans of the genre and of the band will enjoy the release to the full or maybe it’s just meant for dance floors. Anyway ‘Sindustrial’ is still a debut work.
