'Immortal' as one of the most prominent tracks on the recent KC album 'Nightglory' has been chosen to be lifted as an EP plus previously unreleased material thrown in for good measur. The disc kicks things off with the single edit of the title track, which is basically a slightly extended version of the original track with its majestic layers of sound and minimal drum accentuation. 'Bros in NWO' sees the band dwelling in sonic experimentation. There's hardly real melodies to be found here. Rather static noise and drones surrounding the sombre spoken-word of Angelo Bergamini.'1982' is a typical early KC dance track bearing traces of Italo pop while the transition towards a different sound already had begun. If you are into ambient 'Sitchin A + B' might be of interest.
The first one evoking images of an abandoned ghost house. The wind blows though every corner and the screaming of desperate souls is to be heard occasionally. The second one not so much picks up where it left off but evolves to a different lever becoming an experiment in reverb and sustained tones. The last sound-bit is a dance floor friendly remix of the title track with a plethora of future pop elements. As a collector you will surely want to own 'Immortal' as you did with the other stuff released. In case you just want to listen into the sound, I suggest you pick the aforementioned album. A solid release but it wouldn't be missed if it hadn't been released.
