Album Review
MALICE formed back in the ’80. They have three studio albums to their name with an EP and a set of best offs; ‘The New Breed Of Godz’ being one of them with a difference of four new songs included. MALICE unfortunately feel like a tribute band to JUDAS PRIEST, well it can be argued that they’re just inspired by the great band, but I say the inspiration is far too strong and they’d do better in eradicating their idols out of their sound – because all it does is getting me to go listen to JUDAS PRIEST because they know who they are, with clones you just have no clue of their own core! The re-recorded songs have very little of anything new to offer and the new songs would have been better to release as a single though they don’t show that they’ve steered away from being clones and found their own sound, a shred of originality. Maybe you can never have enough of the JUDAS PRIEST sound and welcome anything that sounds as, but eventually it gets boring. A wasted effort and for the listeners it’s just a waste of money.
