I believe there was never any doubt that MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE are one of the craziest bands around. If you, at any point in your life, have seen them performing, you will certainly agree with me. The album at hand 'How I Learned to Stop Giving a Shit and Love Mindless Self Indulgence' was completely funded by a Kickstarter campaign and self-produced by the band. The track they chose for opening the album best was 'Witness', not taking any prisoners throwing the whole force of what MSI stands for in your face to be followed in the same vein by Fuck Machine'. 'It Gets Worse' hits you with a sleuth of twisted break beats and while we're at it breaks, starts, stops and starts again. It's just as nuts as the band is.
A hymn, if not the typical one, is 'Hey Tomorrow Fuck You and Your Friend Yesterday' that would make a good stand at a German Schlager party just by the sound of it, and just to see the dazzled faces of the people getting to listen to it, I'd pay With a kind of creepy nursery rhyme, we're being introduced to the searing mayhem that is 'Stalkers before the band releases its listeners with a cover of 'The Logical Song', much better than German SCOOTER did back in the day, if anyone remembers that one. The album with the long name leaves no doubt that MSI are still on top of their game. Nuts as shit and with the power to blast everything out of their way.
