Album Review

LAMB OF GOD exists more than 20 years and still continues to attract fans from all over the world. The band was founded in Richmond, Virginia and defines their style as a new wave of heavy-metal. The new album is more than likely to have a commercial success. Of course, it’s not so surprising – in 2007 the band got Grammy and headed the charts. If you are a true fan of the formation, you won’t be surprised. If you start listening to LAMB OF GOD with ‘VII Sturm und Drang’, you may expect some brutality, according to the name. Actually it’s not so common to hear something good from bands which use religious symbols in their names. But so it begins. Ending or coming to the legendary status makes the themes milder and wider. In this work you’ll find almost classical heavy features: roaring guitars, brutal vocals, high quality sound-engineering and complicated compositions. If you like aggressive music, you’ll certainly love it. If not - strange to find you listening to a band with such a name! Anyway, legend is legend. However one may check this album out only for general rock-education.
