The tumour has been eradicated and we all thought that it would be finally over now (We really did) but some things just don’t want to die and so Chris Pohl created another project out of its ashes which goes by the well sounding name of MISS CONSTRUCTION for which he joined forces with his TERMINAL CHOICE fellow Gordon M who is responsible for the vocals here.
The album is started by a compact intro that comes along with noisy sound structures and pumping beats. The ‘Miss Construction Theme’ which follows directly after the intro is the first attack on the clubs. Fast-paced beat and some driving sequences and the dance floor is full before you can say the words “Miss Construction makes you move” which is practically the only sentence together with “I wanna see you dance” you’ll hear in this track but there are also songs with lyrics like ‘Kunstprodukt’ dealing with the phenomenon of the super pop stars who get famous despite the fact that they can’t sing at all. Somehow this reminds me of somebody, but I’m getting off topic so lets continue with the music and the titles ‘Eins und Zwei’ and ‘F**k me too’ all pure club grenades. A cover version of the ECO track ‘Hass und Liebe’ is included as well as a remake of the TERMINAL CHOUICE hit ‘Totes Fleisch’.
To sum this whole thing up: This really isn’t my cup of tea and it’s not the fact that Chris Pohl is behind this project (really). This music is too dreary for me, constantly setting sights on the dance floors and, let’s just say, not very deep lyrics. It will most probably be the burner in the clubs and if the people like it its ok but it’s nothing for me.
