Album Review

MINISTRY formed on 1981 and changed the way of music forever. Releasing several albums to date this newest accomplishment ‘Adios... Puta Madres’ shouldn't be all that disappointing to begin with... Originally known as a more synth pop outfit, MINISTRY changed its style to industrial metal in the late 1980s which got their music on a high level standard making their mainstream success well known by the early 1990s. Their most successful album ‘Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs’ (1992) was so well played and creative it made touring a lot more easier and had the band join in, in all the fun and excitement of the Lollapalooza festival.

But sadly the band was retired just last year drawing their fame and glory as musicians to a stop. But that didn't stop the release of ‘Adios... Puta Madres’ that features material off the band's final touring round up. Being a combination CD/DVD you get thrown with the CD of the bands performance of the 13-tracks played through from start to finish along with the DVD capturing all the exciting performance action taking place, which was recorded at various locations on their farewell tour. All in all MINISTRY have set the boundaries of the music world as we know it, setting themselves up to become one of the most well looked upon acts of our time and will never be forgotten not by a long shot.
